Alex Gregory MBE Speaks at London's most Iconic Skyscraper: A Partnership with Champions

Alex was honoured to speak at the showcase breakfast organised by Champions at London's most iconic networking and business venue, The Gherkin on 14th November 2018. This represented the first of his speaking engagements with the speakers agency and with a new-found partnership, he looks forward to many more.

With one hundred discerning delegates in attendance, it was a wonderful occasion and audience in which to present his personal experiences. Putting these experiences in the context of leadership, teamwork and overcoming challenges, which have all been constant features throughout Alex's career, allowed him to share his incredible journey.

He was well-received by the guests of the showcase breakfast, who were impressed by Alex's inspirational expeditions and experiences. He was also delighted to have shared the stage with former soldier, television presenter and fellow adventurer, Ant Middleton.

After eight years of trying, failing and picking himself up, Alex reached his long-awaited ambition of becoming a World Champion in rowing. He later became one of three men in the world to win all major championships consecutively, when he did so between 2011 and 2016. Since then he has gone on to row the coldest and most dangerous waters in the world, recording seven Guinness World Records in the process.

Today, Alex has been able to enjoy increasingly frequent speaking roles to provide remarkable insight into elite rowing, Olympic preparation, competition and overcoming adversity. It also allowed him to talk about arctic exploration, adventures with his children, his work as an author and aspirations for the future.

Since the event at the Gherkin, Alex has secured numerous speaking engagements through Champion speaker bureau. This includes being invited as the guest keynote speaker for the Duracell conference in Geneva, Switzerland on the 19th December, as well as the guest Olympic motivational speaker to the ITV internal team on the 31st January in Jersey.

Champions After Dinner Speakers provide leading motivational speakers and keynote speakers from the world of sport and exploration, as well as the likes of business and politics and corporate awards hosts.
